Loveland's Scion UAS developing drones for farmers

Loveland-based drone maker Scion UAS, is developing unmanned aircrafts capable of being used in the agricultural industry. The company is designing systems equipped with cameras for field surveillance. Farmers will be able to use the drones to root out pests and to identify areas of land that need additional water or fertilizers. Drones may also be re-designed to act as crop dusters.

Scion UAS is in the perfect location for breaking into the agricultural market considering the large farming community in Weld County.
