Skywriter embarking on Broomfield hiring blitz

BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Skywriter is setting out to revolutionize the process of recording medical notes. Accurately writing medical notes eats up a large portion of doctors’ time, taking up to 50 percent of their day. Using Skywriter’s software, however, doctors are able the say their notes out loud. The software sends a text version to Skywriter, whose scribes can then complete the medical notes.

The startup employs 34 people now and is gearing up for a hiring blitz. This December, Skywriter is moving into a new facility that will have space for about 150 employees. The fast growing company anticipates hiring up to 35 new scribes each month during the next several years.

To fund its expansion plan, Skywriter is kicking off a funding round for an additional $1.5 million.
