ProtectWise combating stealthy computer hacks

DENVER – ProtectWise, a computer security startup based in Denver, is attempting to combat the stealthiest of hacks. While a multitude of programs are available that will notice when a computer faces a large attack, many programs will not note a virus that only makes small changes to a system, potentially leaving the virus undetected for months. Through its innovative cloud network, ProtectWise is attempting to root out these sneaky attacks. The company tracks each time a change is made to a computer. Using ProtectWise, computer specialists can find the root cause of issues.

Founded in 2013, ProtectWise already has 30 employees. In addition, the startup is now hiring data scientists, DevOps engineers, core platform engineers and virtual reality engineers.
