Two Colorado cities among nation’s top tech hotspots

DENVER – Jones Lang LaSalle just released its 2015 Tech Outlook report. The commercial real estate brokerage firm ranked cities based on their talent pool, startup friendliness, economic momentum, cost of renting office space and their cost of living.

Both Denver and Boulder scored highly in the ranking, coming in at number four and six, respectively. Jones Lang LaSalle cited Denver’s highly educated workforce as helping to drive technology companies to expand in the area. Boulder also benefits from a talented labor pool, with the University of Colorado at Boulder providing a pipeline of new talent each year.

Additional cities that rank highly in the report include San Francisco, Washington, D.C., New York City and Chicago.
